Yasmin is a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine practitioner (BHSc Acupuncture) with a professional background in both traditional and Western healthcare. Before entering the field of acupuncture, she spent over a decade working as a registered nurse, developing a deep respect for evidence-informed practice and the science of the human body.
For several years, she worked in community nursing, providing in-home palliative care to clients and their families. During this time, she observed a gap in care — many individuals experienced symptoms that medications alone could not fully ease. This experience, alongside her own first-hand encounters with the benefits of acupuncture became a driving force in her decision to pursue Chinese medicine.
Yasmin has a particular interest in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy and emotional wellbeing, and treats a wide range of general health concerns including stress, pain, and fatigue. Each treatment is tailored to the individual, with a focus on addressing root causes and creating a supportive space.
Yasmin currently practises at Spring Acupuncture, Fertility & Pregnancy Clinic in Springwood and also offers mobile acupuncture for pregnancy care, labour preparation, palliative support, and general wellbeing.
